About the Chicago Business Alliance

The city of Chicago provides a unique cross-section of many businesses, serving as a financial, agricultural, medical and industrial hub for the country. Given its strategic commercial and geographic location, it was natural for the Georgetown to create its next professional alliance here. Serving nearly 5,000 alumni, parents and friends, the Georgetown University Chicago Business Alliance will work to increase the visibility of Georgetown University and strengthen its ties within the business community of Chicago and throughout the Midwest. The group will raise Georgetown's profile and that of its alumni, parents and friends in various professional services, create and participate in professional networking opportunities and build relationships between members' firms and Georgetown for the mutually beneficial exchange of resources. The alliance will also serve as a vehicle to further the mission of the university through outreach, development and communication of its strategic priorities.
