The vice president for advancement is James M. Langley, who joined Georgetown in July 2005. Langley is the former vice chancellor for external relations at the University of California at San Diego, where he oversaw the planning and execution of UCSD’s $1 billion campaign, which roughly tripled annual gift income. DeGioia in announcing Langley’s appointment in April 2005. |
