What led you to Georgetown University Advancement?

I wanted to work in a place where the entire organization is aligned around a shared goal. Helping create a sustainable environment that supports student education and enriches the Georgetown community is a powerful core mission—and what drew me to OA.

What’s been your biggest achievement at Georgetown so far in your career?

Anytime an event comes to completion, it feels like a major accomplishment—especially those that engage our alumni. It is always rewarding to see your work pay off in a meaningful and impactful way.

How did you end up in your current role? Did you have previous experience?

This is my second role at Georgetown, and I felt incredibly supported when I decided to move into my next position within the office. I had mentors advocating for me and investing in my professional development, which made staying at Georgetown and navigating my next step much easier.

What’s one fun fact about yourself that most people don’t know?

I run a lot and can always be found with some sort of caffeinated beverage nearby.

How does your work align with the broader mission at Georgetown & Advancement?

On the estate planning team, we help secure Georgetown’s future while also helping our alumni find meaningful ways to solidify their legacy within the University.

“Working within Advancement has given me the opportunity to grow my career while advancing Georgetown’s mission. I have been able to work on creative projects and expand my skill set in collaboration with internal and external partners.”
