Reunion Giving

A great and important way alumni can participate in their class reunion efforts is by making a reunion gift. More than $59 million was raised in total gifts from classes celebrating their undergraduate reunion in 2016 by the start of Reunion Weekend.

Every year, it’s a race to see which undergraduate classes will be recognized for their achievements. During the weekend, the following classes were honored:

President's Cup

The Class of 1966 was given the President’s Cup for producing the highest percentage of donors during the reunion year.

The Class of 1966 was presented the Loyalty Society Cup for having the largest percentage of classmates who are members of the Loyalty Society and who have given continuously since their last reunion. A special Buyback Program for reunion-year alumni allowed alumni to “buy back” years they missed. Five years of consecutive giving qualifies alumni as Milestone members of the new Georgetown University Loyalty Society—our way of saying thank you to our most steadfast supporters.
